Stare Down

A Young Black Bear in Terra Nova Park, Newfoundland. I parked the car and slowly walked up to him. Stayed there for a while and he/she didn't seem to mind.

The Black Bear is North America's smallest and most common species of bear. Black bears are omnivores, with their diets varying greatly depending on season and location. Black bears typically live in largely forested areas, but do leave forests in search of food.

Terra Nova National Park is located on the east coast of Newfoundland along several inlets of Bonavista Bay. The park takes its name from the Latin name for Newfoundland.
